The Refuge on Roanoke Island is a camping community located in the fishing Village of Wanchese, North Carolina. Manteo and Wanchese are located on Roanoke Island. We welcome you to stay for the night, a week, or pick your favorite spot to reserve all year long. We have 59 sites with full hookups, 44 are year long leases, and the rest are waterfront and available for daily campers.
